While both Hi-Time Wine Cellars and The Cannery
are local landmarks, their history together
pre-dates even the opening of our store in 1957.
Back in the 1940s, Helen Hanson was working at
The Cannery and her sons Chuck, Fritz (founder
of Hi-Time Wine Cellars) and Ed were fishing for
mackerel, which they sold to The Cannery.
Because of this long-standing and special
relationship, we knew that this would be the
ideal place to celebrate this milestone event.
